Browser Wars

I heard from insomnia that he can't see the Latest Tips column on the right of the page in The Newbie Lounge in IE, so I asked some people to test it.

I know I can see it in Netscape. I have reports from users of IE 5.0 on both Mac and Win98 that they can see it too. So far, the only other person who is not able to see it is using IE 5.0.1 on Win98.

Anyone have any idea why this would be the case or what can be done about it? Is it me, is it the style, or is it Microsoft?
