Livejournal archives

There should be a feature to download or retrieve an entire journal. It's too hard to retrieve past journal entries with the monthly calendar format as it is. An export, or download journal feature would fix that.

Since I started using livejournal, I haven't kept pen and paper journal copies. I want to be able to come back 1, 5, or 10 years from now and view those entries, or else have a way to retrieve them onto my personal storage space.

There are thousands of people's lives at stake!
