Real Business Definition?

Lately I've been seeing the commentary that livejournal.com is not a "Real Business."

Could someone please define for me what, exactly, constitutes a "Real Business," and how, exactly, livejournal is not.

Should it not go like this:

%group_of_people% == %group_of_people%
%group% == %group_of_people%
if %group_of_people% == make_money
if %group_of_people% == form_company
if %group% == incorporate_company
call realbusiness()
fi
fi
fi
(yes, well aware this would not work in any known programming language)

If a group of people start a site, start making money from said site, pay themselves and those working with them a wage to sustain their standard of living, form a "parent company" or company name that holds the project of said site under it, and incorporate that company to protect their asse(t)s, would that not be a real business?

Perhaps I missed a post, somewhere, explaining this?
