old invite codes

I was wondering if it was possible to give old invite codes an internal monetary value. That way they could be used to not only purchase paid member time but also rename tokens or extra user pictures. I am not a techie in any way and I don't know what the functionality of this idea is, but I thought I would throw it out there.
