It is an interesting idea, though poorly brought together. As LiveJournal does have communities, FoxSports is bringing together single-interest (sports) users. I think that pitch is interesting and I can see where they could surmise more interaction and the such, but I don't see a way for that to happen with their god-awful format. Yet, I think LiveJournal could take a page from this and somehow openly market for special interest users like these. Like advertising RSS feeds for ESPN.com and the like.
