paying for LJ

hi there.

i have a question about paying for an account: how exactly does a money order work?
i'm not quite sure what it is, but it's the only way i could pay for my account.

i've found a company called Western Union, can i use it for paying for LJ? it says it's *money transfer*... would that be the same as money order?
